anyway to make pioneer 109 dvdrw burn "lightscribe" type discs?
My mates just bought an HP external dvd writer with lightscribe technology on it. What a great idea and the discs look fantastic.
Anyone know if there is a way to make the pioneer 109 do the same trick?

They might look good but ask him how long it takes to `scribe` one.........

he said it took about 40 minutes to burn the image to the top of the disc - i know it takes a long time but it looks a hell of alot better than black pen!

I bought a USB Casio thermal printer - Takes about 30 secs to label a disc.
I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

I use an Epson R300. Under 80 notes when I bought it, prints in three to four minutes in full photo colour and gives me a USB memory card reader into the bargain. Lightscribe? Phfft!
