Masha (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 30th May 2001, 18:48

I Bought an Aiwa 370 a while ago after reading many posts on this newsgroups, this weekend I am planning on helping a friend choose a DVD player and was wondering what the best alternative is with similar features thats available on the market today, It must

1) Play CDR - VCD`s & Audio CD`s
2) Be below £200
3) Be remote hackable to play region 1`s & RCE
4) Optional - Play mp3 CD`s

Many Thanks,
Masha

you may also want to go for a macrovision free dvd as well, As the 370 will cannot record to VHS, So no copying you films to tape.
I just found this out so i am now thinking of getting rid of the 370.
