Page 1 of Anyone have a Sonel `Mac Master`?

Hi there,

I am considering buying a Mac Master from Sonel and wanted to know if anyone is using it/what they think of it?

Does it work on ALL macrovision sources, or just DVD? Also, did you have to buy a power lead separately for it?

Finally, £24.99 is cheap for a macrovision-remover box, right?

Had it for about six months now-works like a charm. No problems so far. You do need a seperate power supply-costin u about £32. All macro sources inc sky box office etc.

Seen a mac master at the computer fair (washington tyne&wear) they were selling for £29.99 and seemed to work quite good he had a demo with 2 identical sony portable tv`s and 2 orion/matsui video recorders the film running was the spy who shagged me (Austin Powers) and the dvd was a alba and the tv without the sontel was losing sinc and jumping quite bad whilst the tv with the sontel in line ran very good "he stated to me that the scart lead had the electronics inside it and it stripped the video signal and reinserted the correct signal!
apart from that he gave me a phone number and address but im not sure if i can put them on here as i am unsure of advertising for companies..baz

I bought mine about a week ago, it does work well although i havent really had time to use that much. However i have read someone else talking about flickering lines, but all i have experienced is a bit of disturbance as it settles into doing its job.

i also bought the exta power supply (cost an extra £6)
it works excellent
the copies are as good as my samsung without macrovision
well worth the money
