DVD Recorder for £100??

peteh (Competent) posted this on Sunday, 6th February 2005, 18:25

Having purchased the Mico R311 from Sainburys a couple of months ago (and being very pleased with it) my father in law has asked me to get him one, but for love nor money I cant find any in the local Sainburys stores. Have they stopped making/supplying them?

Also, if they are now no more, what can I get him for £100, he says that he doesnt want to pay any more. Any ideas? I have found the Relisys from Richer Sounds is that any good?

Cheers

Pete

I have been to two Sainsburys stores in East Berkshire on a regular basis, and both had sold out of the R311 since early January..

The Relisys is a sound recorder - one of the old school Sampo recorders - see here. The newer variants, such as the Aldi Tevion MD80032, were seriously flawed. Luckily the Relisys ones are from the older production run and seem okay, if a little lacking in connectivity....
