Page 1 of Your advise please on what dvd player i should GET!!!

i want a dvd player from £120-£190 and i will have to be hackable. i dont want the GOOMANS G100 so i had it and its pants!!! i was looking at the bush dvd 2006 but not sure of a hack and if there is one that works i would get that! I want DTS/5.1 and playes DVD/MP3/VCD/CD`s and a dts output thing at back. so it better play Region 1 discs good ok!!! well hope you all can help me here, thanks in advance!

the 505`s picture is better then the scan and p***es all over the dreadful mico!(if you wanted to know where the uk grain mountain is check the micos`s picture:-P)

No. I read a review that states the 505 "had the worst picture theyve ever seen". As for SCAN reviews. err.. look around!

What you should do, to help you decide, is scan through the archives of this forum to find out complaints/compliments of DVD players in your price range. There is no better critics of players than those who`ve actually used them. I came to this forum about a week ago seeking help on which DVD player to buy and a week later I`m the proud owner of a Toshiba 100se. This quote helped me decide:

for a trouble disk for the Toshiba. Thats why I bought it,You never hear about Toshiba on this forum,that has to tell you something."

Posted by movie-lover (or something like that). The simple fact is that people who`ve bought player "x" and are happy with it will recommend it fully. However, it might not do what you want, so you should only use comments as guidelines.

Its so obvious......the only reason your getting another one is not that it plays dvd`s very well, its because it does all those daft little things that are only really helpful for downloading filth and remastering it to CDR`s!
