can any one help just got the 108 but it will not player some dvd copies dvd copies have used the hack to region 0 but still wont player the copies

Hi, it sounds like this player does`nt play SVCD`s. Please could you clarify this for me, as I need a cheap player that plays SVCD`s..... :)

My parents have this player and it plays svcd. Are there a couple of (firmware) versions?
