Wharfedale 890`s and M8 28` Widescreen TVs at Tesco

Has anyone else seen this fault/problem or is it just me??
I brought the 890 in black a while back and all seemed ok
Occasionaly though when viewing the screen gets distorted along the left and right edge and is really annoying. Also when viewing a dark screen there seem to be five or six vertical lines showing on the background.
I took the TV back to Tesco and brought the Silver M8 instead and the lines are still there and the distortion this time is actually worse.
Any help ?? I emailed Wharfedale and they just said `They didnt know of a problem` and advised speaking to Tesco !

I took 2 890`s back to Tesco for a very annoying distortion problem, which appeared even in 4:3 mode.
Saved up some extra cash and bought a Philips 32" Widescreen TV instead. I suggest that you should do the same thing.

I had one of those Ws wharfdales. I had the "vertical lines" on the left handside of screen. Took it back and got my money back. Strangly enough, the lady at tescos said 80 yes 80% of their stock came back with problems. Guess i wasn`t one of those 20 out of 100 lucky people. So i have come to the conclusion that, if it says "made in turkey" on the box, i aint gonna buy it.....pah. Got myself a WS samsung instead......SMASHING!!!
