Page 1 of Buying a player TOMORROW - can`t wait; which one?

Philips 711 or LG 3350E? Understand layer changes are better with the second one. Like the idea of being able to update firmware on the former.

Is it correct that I won`t get RGB pass-through on either of them (On-Digital)? Does anyone know a player that can do this?

Thoughts anyone (anyone who has tried both machines).

I just got a pioneer 530, the picture quality is much better than my dads wharfdale 750s. Sound is great to. Only slight problem is that its a bit noisy, but that doesnt matter once the sound is up

i am new to dvd and this forium,but i can tell you of 2 places where you can obtain an lg3350.
i live in bolton lancs, and the currys branch in bolton has one for sale at £249.99, also a company called tvandvideo direct also have one for sale at £269.99 also based in bolton.

You see I`m waiting for my 3350e ordered from http://www.dabs.com on 4 January but they are now talking about stocks coming in 1 February (probably). Ironically they`re based in Bolton! Perhaps you could get someone from dabs down to those stores to talk about supplier problems!

It`s tempting as I live in Leeds and am making a business trip to Warrington Wednesday so could divert past Bolton. But dabs is £189 and £60-£80 is a big difference in price.

Currys in Wigan had 2 today i noticed, not too far from Warrington, about 20 minute drive, you could also try the Warrington store
