Which is best the yamaha DSPA5 or the sherwodd RVD6095RDS????
For budget home cinema, the Sherwood obviously offers reasonable quality for the price (£200) as well as a radio tuner. It offers 65 watts per channel and can decode Dolby Digital and DTS (and ProLogic, of course). Reviews in mags such as What Hi Fi and Home Entertainment remain fairly agreed - they`re not spectacular, and can come across a bit rough and ready. But, they do the job. Their use as a hi-fi amp, as opposed to a home cinema amp, is not it`s strongest suit either, by all accounts.
On the other hand, the Yamaha DSPA5, is a little more expensive, but is an amp based, in part, on components from the flagship DSPA1 amp. This offers 70 watts per channel, and also offers DTS/DD decoding, as well as Dolby Pro-Logic. Love them or loathe them, the A5 also offers Digital Sound Processing (DSP) programmes that can recreate plain vanilla 5.1 soundtracks. As with all Yamaha products they do music well too (but again, probably not as well as a stand-alone hi-fi amp). The A5 does not come with a tuner, but there is the RXV596RDS, which is basically an A5 with an RDS tuner.
There seems to be a world shortage of A5s at present, but expect to pay around about £250 (cheapest) - e.g. http://www.sdb-electronics.com is probably the cheapest in the UK at present.
Suggest you get along to Richer Sounds (the only UK stockist of Sherwood products) and see if you can`t demo both amps. At the end of the day, audio is very subjective. I have the A5, and bought it untested, but it was the luckiest gamble I`ve made - DVD just comes alive with it. I`m sure owners of the 6095 would say the same.
Hope this helps.

I have done numerous web searches and found virtually nothing.
