Im looking to buy a Sony DVP-NS305 but everywhere i look it says that it can only play VCD, just wondering if anyone knows that it plays SVCD as well?

Not much help maybe but I`ve just got the 405 which only says vcd`s but ot plays svcd`s too.

Ok I will elaborate...
It plays Video CD`s (VCD)! But It Doesn`t play Super Video CD`s (SVCD)... As the intial question asked.

My Pioneer 454 says Video CD on the front still plays SVCD though!
