I imagine you can get it cheaper. Can here....
Also the Picture Frame 2 is here with `free` DVD player, video and speaker stands for £1220 inc del. That`s a bargain I think.

If you just want a big crt screen without any sound-processing gubbins, QED.have the 36" Panasonic PL30 on offer at £940.

I want one.

It seems all the large w/s crts are plagued by some kind of picture niggle to a greater or lesser degree. Depending on who posts, which machine etc, I am as confident as I am ever going to be, that if you want a large crt purely to display the picture (ie no audio gizmos), the pl30 is the one for me. Been following threads and prices for 12 months now, suppose I have to commit at some point.

Plasmas are out of my price range for the forseeable future and the new range of 36" crts are not pal prog which might have influenced my decision.

Apart from the picture, other more personal stuff sways me eg: personal experience of Panasonic reliability (touch wood), shelf is right size to fit my centre, 2 rgb scarts, stand-by neon is off when its not in stand-bye (unlike Toshibas - when you are watching, the neon is on???)

At that price, the Panasonic should be in the Bargain Buckets forum!

It`s a steal. Just wish I had the spare cash and a more understanding wife!!!

I let my mind wander....and it didn`t come back.
