Page 1 of Replacement Remote?

As a toe-in-the-water jobbie I recently purchased one ot the Accoustic Solution clone DVD players from Superdrug. Pleased with it generally - intended all along to move it on to kids and invest in something better.

Only gripe is the remote control, which has to be the poxiest piece of plastic ever moulded. Buttons don`t work, work on their own etc, etc. At the moment I am using a cheapo one4all, but would like a remote that has the next chapter function, eject etc.

Any ideas? (based on the fact that the player cost under £60)

you could just return the whole thing, for a refund?

DVD Vicar please tell me what codes you are using for the superdrug DVD, i.e what manufacturer codes does the DVD respond to with the all in one remote, you could be the answere to my recent thread

as i need a manufacture code to get the dvd working on a marantz remote
also an all in one topline 8[orderd from richersounds@ £9.99]rrp£70
when i get it this week i could let you know if it does the fuctions you want.

so you can right it down so you dont have to use the search fuction
again if the batteries are removed

PRESS the device, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), button - RELEASE
PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
PRESS 9 - 9 - 0.
PRESS 1, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (1st digit)
PRESS 2, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (2nd digit)
PRESS 3, carefully COUNT the number of blinks. (3rd digit)

If the remote DOES NOT blink it means the number is 0.
This is your 3-digit setup code.

also some devices use two codes try this

In some cases you will need to use two device keys to control one device. For example the Panasonic Model PV4560 VCR uses device code 162 for most normal operations and device code 454 for programming timer events. To have access to all of the features of the original remote you have to set up two VCR buttons, one with device code 162 and one with device code 454.

but you would need the remote to blink back the I.R code
so you could identify the manufacturer to see if they use two I.R codes
and assigne one to aux.

as i posted before i read that panasonic made the remotes for mustek
they use two codes for DVD players [490 632] according to

just an update to the remote code i needed for mustek clone dvd player=superdrug model/ acoustic solutoins/yukia

the three digit code i was given by OFA helpline was 730

all fuctions from the original work with the OFA topline 8
