If any one can offer some feed back on this unit it would make me very happy.
Matsui DVD120... I want to know if the unit can play back VCD`s... I want to know if the unit has had any bother with the RCE issue...

i assume you know that a multi region hack exists. The Matsui 110 DOES have a hack for it to play VCD`s. I have been advised the 120 DOES as well. Similair to multiregion hack for 120. But the person concerned wont tell me!!. The 120 is a good cheap and nasty model. Ideal for 1st DVD player. But the quality isnt the best particularly on films filmed in the dark. I`ll try to find out the hack. Also macrovision as well

Yes, I have the multiregion hack codes for the Door Mat-sui 110 which I`m told doe`s work for the 120. however I have played with a 110 and the picture was good and it handeled on the problem R1 disc releases from early to mid 2000.
I could not get it to play any VCD`s though and if there is a hack then the problem is firmware?
