DVD Drive for PC

This probably me being thick, but I have recently got my hands on one of the above, stuck it in my PC, chucked in a disc and why doesn`t it play. Do you need some software for this to happen.

Yep u do.....

If u haven`t received any software with your DVD-ROM player, then u can`t play DVD-Video discs.

U need a software player like PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc....

Take a look at http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/index.html

They can give u lots of information and u can even find a free player if I`m not mistaking...

don`t forget you might need a decorder card inside if you have amd use videologic
