I`m thinking of getting the Videologic DTS Speaker kit. I`ve read the reviews and don`t think I can do any better for £400. Does any one know of any better systems for this kind of money?
I`ve seen them in Courts and Comet both at £400 and the Videologic Web-site. Does anyone know where I can get them for less than this?
Thanks
Brett.
RE: Video Logic DTS Speakers
Try DABS (a computer firm) or Jungle.com.
These are easily the best for the money.
You can get them for £351.33 + p&p (£10) at Scan.

RE: Video Logic DTS Speakers
Alternativley, why not go for an AV receiver/amp and a good set of speakers.
I recently purchased a Sherwood RD6106 receiver a pair of Mordaunt-short MS20i bookshelf speakers and a Gale sw5 sub-woofer.
Running with the centre and rear speakers that came with my TV it sounds superb, full dolby digital 5.1 & DTS decoding built in, 65w/channel, radio and also plays audio CD`s through my DVD as well, sound quality is fantastic!!
Got them at www.richersounds.com and they cost:
Reciever - £199.99
Speakers - £60.00
sub - £60.00
Richer sounds are doing a home cinema speaker deal (fronts, centre & rears) for £120.00.
My friend has Mission Cinema 6. This is a five pack of Mission 70 speakers with an active sub and they sound pretty good.
cost him £230 from Empire Direct, but they took ages to get in stock.
If you buy a cheap amp (I think there`s a JVC and Technics amp for under 200) then it`ll sound better than the Videologic which is mainly aimed at PC-DVD.
