Video Logic DTS Speakers

I`m thinking of getting the Videologic DTS Speaker kit. I`ve read the reviews and don`t think I can do any better for £400. Does any one know of any better systems for this kind of money?

I`ve seen them in Courts and Comet both at £400 and the Videologic Web-site. Does anyone know where I can get them for less than this?

I have the 535 bought from Richer Sounds - absolutely no problems with the quality of the picture or sound.

One slight niggle is the sequence of buttons you have to press to swap between Region 1 and 2 - about 10 in total.

Luckly I have a Cambridge Audio M1 Remote control which I have programmed to do all steps at the press of one button - I`m a lazy bugger!!!!

RE: wharfedale 750/750s

I have the same problem - from reading these pages I think its a batch of 750 that has this particular problem. I first noticed it in Fight Club but it happens on all my R1 discs - every now and again you see a dark black bar flicker across the screen. I got my player in June and I`m going to try and get Tesco`s to replace it with a 750s or a different player - it bugs me so much when watching a R1 that I`ve not bought any more.
