Page 1 of PROLINE DVD2000

Can anyone help with a hack for the Proline DVD2000? I`m having no luck at all with this one!

If you mean the Proline DVD1000, then yes.

I have one and got the hack to work first time.

I think it went like this.

(1) Open tray.
(2) Place region 1 disc in (I presume)
(3) Leave tray open
(4) Carefully press 0,1,2,3 on your remote ( one after the other)
(5) Press play
(6) Look gobsmacked as it works

It is actually
Make sure drive is empty and closed
Power on
Press menu
type 1,6,7 on your remote
Type in the required region code or press mute for all regions
Press exit
Now insert your DVD and go.
For the PROLINE 2000!!! only
Taking mine back tomorrow though because it skips
Anyone else having an audio skip problem with this machine???

Ah sorry. I thought it was a typo (god im an idiot).

Now got an AIWA 370, works far better than that PROLINE and with mp3 and cdr/rw support I am much happier.
Blazingmonga, don`t worry, the 2000 has only been out about a week!

Your info is spot on, have no problem on skipping on audio so cannot help.
Would like to poach on your info again tho,.I aint tried to record on to video yet but wonder if u know how to disable macro??????

If not, who cares, u have helped me enormously already.
