Hello Everyone. I have a rather elderly Sony RDR-GX700 DVD recorder which has received very little use.I know its quite old probably about 5 or 6 years I think but is there anyway to make it multi region? I want to put it in the bedroom so my partner can watch some US art disks her sister sent her. Any help would be appreciated Cheers. :)

None of the old Sony players or recorders are remote hackable, I`m afraid.
You either need a service remote (you can google this) or a mod chip...cheaper option would be to buy a cheap multiregion player for those Region 1 discs, sorry.
