Does anyone know I multi-region hack for this one?

If this player is anything like the JMB3000 then do this.
with machine turned on and draw closed press open/close stop skip/forward at the same time.

You will get a menu that allows you to change the region setting plus default colour settings etc.

If anyone comes across the hack to turn the macro off on this machine please lett me know.

Thanks David by Ive already tied that, this player is a replacement one, no idea what model my old was but when it was switched on all it had was a blank screen and not the DVD video screen. I try it a few time just incase im getting it wrong.

Blank screen ? you mean blue with no writing on it? If this is the case then that is the proper JMB start up screen.

The JMB3000 is a very basic player but for what they cost they do the job well. I have got mine running multi region and it never refuses anything even the Matrix plays without a problem.

I have to confess i have become something of a DVD nut and i have a few DVD players in my house. I just love DVD its ace!!.

My mistake, a blue screen, I just loved it, as you said it was basic and that done me, in my view is was great, this 3002 is ok but i prefered my old one, Bit of a long short here but maybe its not made my orion?, like yourself Im DVD mad, Im replacing all my VHS videos, only if I could get this one mutli-reigon I would save a small forture :-))

I have a replacement JMB DVD 3002 my original one was a JMB 3000. I have tried the hack for the 3000 model on the 3002 but have had no joy...I have searched sites galore, trying to find a hack to make it multi region but to no avail..If you find the hack would you please let me know @ yrral[at]dna...ku.oc.evreseerf.95snillocr in the meantime if i have any luck whilst searching will do the same...Many Thanx....Larry

HI - THERE IS NO KNOW HACK, SO FAR 4 THIS MODEL.. THE 3000 HACK WILL NOT WORK. TRUST ME I SELL THEM.

You guys should get in touch with Steve from dvdchips, He sells the chips for them, Cheap and easy to fit!

I would "chip" the machine but as I said its a replacement one, not even
a month old yet and the last one I had only lasted until it was 10 months.
To much of a risk if you ask me.

Fair enough, You`ll just have to wait for a remote hack then.
