Unfortnately this is one of those DVD players that is as yet still unhackable. Although its vrtually the same as the JMB 3000 its system hardware has been upgraded, therefore stopping any hacks. I am sure within time someone will find the codes and release its full potentiol..
Until then, you are stuck with the player only in region 2. There is a chip available if you really need it. But by the time you purchase the chip and have it fitted you might just as well go and buy another DVD player one more up to date that is hackable.... they are coming down in price now and are as low as £69 from lidl stores and it also plays vcd,mp3,cdr,cdrw and most other formats, it also is a hackable player..Sorry there is not much else you can do at this time.......

With regards to WEDGE G about the JMB 3002 not being on sale as yet.I would like to inform you it has been on sale now for over 4months or so and it was a direct replacement for the JMB 3000 and is an ORION brand manufactured product. It can be purchased from Index catalogue stores or from Littlewoods Stores @£129.99.
There is at this time, no region hack available for this particular model.
However you can purchase a chip from steve @dvdchips his site is posted here somewhere. Although the JMB 3002 is virtually identical to the 3000 in apperance it has a couple of variations.That being when switched on the display panel runs slightly different and the on screen TV picture now displays the DVD symbol.Hopefully soon a hack will be found as i am sure there are a lot off people out there that have this model

please can you send details about steve at dvd chips...as there is no known hack for this particular model of DVD player. As yet it has to be found...and if anyone finds it please let us know...thx

I have a replacement JMB DVD 3002 my original one was a JMB 3000. I have tried the hack for the 3000 model on the 3002 but have had no joy...I have searched sites galore, trying to find a hack to make it multi region but to no avail..If you find the hack would you please let me know @ yrral[at]dna...ku.oc.evreseerf.95snillocr in the meantime if i have any luck whilst searching will do the same...Many Thanx....Larry
