1. Switch on DVD player
2. Press menu
3. Press 1,6,7. You will then see display 1-6 for regions.
4. Press mute button in top right hand corner of remote and that will give you all regions.
5. Press exit

i`ve applied this hack to my 125 and it said VCD Enabled.

i tried a VCD and it said NO VALID DISC!

This disc was created as a standard VCD format disc on my PC using an MPEG1 and burnt onto a CD-R using Nero. It has all the normal file and directory structure of a standard VCD - but the 125 don`t recognise the disc!!!

any suggestions ???

I`ve experienced the very same thing as silva909 - the multi region hack works great and the VCD hack seems to work (ie. you get a hidden menu and you can select "enable VCD") but when I tried playing a VCD it said "no valid disc". Hs anyone found a way round this?

Cheers,

The Qwain.

Matsui DVD Players are really picky with the type of media they will accept. I had same problem with Matsui 110 and found that IMATION CD-RW will usually work if you burn VCD onto these . They are still liable to stopping and skipping but are the only media that the Matsui 110 likes . Give them a try ( available from Dixons , Currys & P.C World ) . Remember to buy CD-RW not CD-R.
