Turn Power on (No disk in drive)
Press Menu
Press 1,6,7 and press Mute for ALL Regions
Press Exit

On the 125 you use the INDEX button. I have tried the 122 hack myself with no luck. let me know if it works for you.
I can get to a screen that gives me information about macrovision by pressing MENU twice but as yet have not been able to switch it off.
RE: Matsui DVD 120 Multi Region Hack Needed
To region crack the Matsui DVD-120:
Turn on player with no disk in the drive.
Hold down STOP, OPEN/CLOSE and FFWD SKIP for a few seconds.
A hidden menu will appear on screen and you can then select the region using the remote control.

The DVD-125 will play VCD`s with the following hack.
Insert a music CD
Press STOP
Press MENU
Press 1
Press INDEX
Press OPEN/CLOSE
Now select VCD enable or disable.

Hi. Just bought a Matsui 125 myself. The hack you want can be found at http://www.laserdiscarchive.co.uk/matsui_dvd/matsui_dvd-122/matsui_dvd-122.htm. I`ve used it myself and have played region 0 and region 1 DVD`s with no problems.
