ive tried the 1 listed on the site but problems as follows? followed instructions but when you press setup to get in etc all you get are as follows, languadge,video,loudspeeker,audio,factory settings menus etc, but according to hack site instructions you use your remote to get a hand up then press 3 button 4 times well i do this but you cannot get hand up on these menu`s(well i cant)and the only way you get a hand to appear is if you put the tray back in but then press enter it will come up for a second then go so youve got no chance to do the rest of instructions so please does anyone know a way to do it or what im doing wrong? thanx

Make sure that you are pointing the remote straight at the display on your play, and that the signal is not being blocked out by the opened CD tray.

the crack mentioned is to make the player region free.(play disks from all over the world.) to do it. 1. turn on dvd 2.open cd drawer 3. press setup on remote 4. press right button until all way across.(should relate to passwords) 5. press button (3) four times.(this will bring up region select) 6. press right to highlight regions. 7. now select region 0 8. press enter. 9 close cd drawer. 10 your player will now be region free.

If you take notice of `the hand` info on the hack page it can be a tad confusing.
Turn on player Open tray Press `set up` button Using remote move to the far right of the `set up` screen to highlight `custom setup` Press button ` 3` four times, this should then bring up `secret 1` complete with region codes. Set code to ` 0` for multi-region.
Hope this is of help.
Whilst on the subject of `secret 1`, does anybody know if there are any other hacks for this machine? `Secret 1` hints that there may be more than one!!

Those who have downloaded the flash are currently look at how wo activate the `secret 2` menu.
Anyone know what software to best use to view bin files, (other that notepad)
