REPOST: *READ THIS* Advice for anyone looking for a MULTI REGION HACK

OK,

If your looking for a hack for your player, your in the right place. Now, to save clogging up forums with the same question answered over and over, here are a couple of tips that will have your DVD Player region free in a matter of seconds, instead of waiting for a day or 2 for an answer on the forums.

1st - Check the Multi Region Hacks Page located at
http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp

This contains most of the known hacks, unless the hack has literally only just been discovered. All hacks listed here are tried, tested and proven.

2nd - Do a search of the Region Hacks Forum Page - located at
http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/default.asp?Forum=176

Just enter your DVD Player model then press ENTER and the search facility will do all the hard work for you - finding your hack in just a few seconds if someone else has already posted it!!

3rd - If you have NOT found the hack you require, post a message with the full make and model number, including current region or place of purchase and someone might have an answer for you. Be patient!

Between myself and Steve at dvdchips.co.uk, we should be able to tell you if your machine is remote hackable, chippable, reflashable, upgradeable or being worked on.

Down with region coding!

Excellent advice, Steve, and one that I endorse.

A title that just says "I need help ?" ain`t gonna get many takers. Make and model and type of hack Eg "Sharp DV740H - multiregion hack ?" is fine.

Take the time out to research this site first : Reviewer is the best online source for UK hacks, closely followed by this Forum.

There are loads of multiple threads on similar players because people don`t research the forums or the site properly : it`s part of the Forum Rules to ensure you do (although we don`t tend to uphold it).

It just makes it easier for everyone.
