Didn`t see a 6230i. There was a choice of networks, however, all around the £30 mark to qualify for nil cost over contract term. Can`t do a link - this was an exclusive in store offer.

The Link are running nil cost over the term of the contract mobile phone offers on some semi reasonable phones. I picked up a free Sony Ericsson K700i on Orange 200 at £30 pounds a month on a 12 month contract. I can claim back £120 at month 6, £120 at month 9 and £120 at month 12, a total of £360. This is equivalent to the entire cost of the contract over 12 months. What makes it even better value is that Orange are offering 6 months double minutes! I don`t think I`ll be using my home phone much :D

Rang Warners today and not only are they going to send a replacement for Disc 2, but are going to send a free copy of Willy Wonka`s Chocolate Factory (or whatever its called) as compensation for the inconvenience caused. Top customer service.

JVC 28WT5EK WIDESCREEN - ANY GOOD
Does anybody have any experience of this set. I have read good and average reviews. It has 3 scarts which can`t be bad, but what is the picture quality, etc like?

Sharp 28HW53H - Any Good?
Does anybody have experience of this 28 inch widescreen from Sharp? It looks ok and has 3 scart sockets. Does anyone know if any of the scart sockets have s-video input as I do not have a scart output on my Home Cinema kit (LG DA3520).
Any comments appreciated

RE: Goodmans DVD3500 / Grundig GDV620 annoying BUZZ from Woofer ?
I have today returned my 2nd Goodmans 3500 to Comet and obtained a refund. There was a buzzing noise coming from the sub on both models. The peculiar thing is that when customer service guy set the thing up in the shop, there was no buzzing whatsoever! The buzzing occurred even when I tried setting the unit up in a different room away from the TV, Sky box etc, so that ruled out interference. Comet were quite happy to refund me. Shame because otherwise a good player - good sound/great picture.
