I have a Pioneer DVD-104S DVD-ROM and wanted to know if there was any way for me to swap the regions when the clock runs down? If anyone knows of a software hack or bios switch, could they post the url? ta

As far as I know, you need to use the firmware on the DVD-ROM drive itself (I seem to remember reading all pioneer drives are region locked, mine was. I have and DVD 114 10x40 speed.) Careful though, if you get the wrong firmware, you can make your drive inoperable.
After you`ve done that, get DVDGenie as was said earlier, it`s the mutts nuts.

Jimbo, you`re my hero and the reason I`m a member of the DVD reviewer forums. Your thread about the 370`s hack brought me here :)
But...you have to admit that you know nothing about DVD-Rom hacks. I`m the king of this realm and as a true king I won`t retract anything :)
