The Terminator - Only £15.99 - Not Bad
Hi All,
Just thought I`d say, I got The Terminator from Videodrome in Worcester for £15.99. That is a blinder of a bargin, and I didn`t think I`d see it in the shops before Monday.

As far as I know, you need to use the firmware on the DVD-ROM drive itself (I seem to remember reading all pioneer drives are region locked, mine was. I have and DVD 114 10x40 speed.) Careful though, if you get the wrong firmware, you can make your drive inoperable.
After you`ve done that, get DVDGenie as was said earlier, it`s the mutts nuts.

Woolies (Worcester) have got a similar deal (2 for £25), but with a better selection IMO.

Absolutely, I will only order from this place. Apart from the minor inconvienence of waiting 3 more days for an order during the `flooding`, they have been spot on.
More than 1 copy of a disc...
I was just wondering if this had happened to any of you...
I bought Bound (excellent) from WHSmiths a while back, and got 2 copies of it. I was pretty suprized by that. So I sold the spare to one of my friends for £15. Got nearly all my money back. Any one else got weird goings on? Like buying Saving Private Ryan and getting a Private Benjamin disc instead (this also happened to me in Our Price.)

PowerDVD is where it`s at. Get DVD Genie from www.infomatrix.com to make this multiregion, it does a few other players too.

On the first disc there is an egg. On the main menu, goto the bottom option and press LEFT. A pair of lips should appear. Click on them and you get a 3rd version of the film. (It starts Black and White and goes to colour when they first get to the castle. Very cool.)
PowerDVD and RCE Discs
I was just wondering if anyone knew whether RCE would work on a PC running PowerDVD (version 2.55 with multiregion enabled using DVD Genie.)

I finally got through to them.
The reason that orders have been delay is that their warehouse got flooded. It sounds like most of the orders are going out at the beginning of the week, well thats what I was told anyways.
Those damn floods are reaching all of us...

I have also placed orders for 3 DVDs. They have just put processing on them. I tried phoning today and no dice. I am very disapointed in them if they have shut down. But I was under the impression they were trying to deal with a back-log of orders. It seems I am wrong...
