Page 1 of Region Hack wanted for a Woolworths £69.95! DVD Player

Today I bought a smart DVD Player from Woolworths for only £69.95!!
It has no LCD display?? but it has got MP3, CD,CDRW playback facility though which is a good bonus for that price of player. It has silver buttons on the front with the remote control receiver window front lower left.

Only problem is that the player is only region2 compatible. Wonder if anyone knows the hack for this player?

There is no make/model on the box it just says its imported for Woolworths UK PLC.

On a sticky label on the box it says: Welkin T-123 DVD/CD Player.
Code: 270A9140
Made in China.

Anyone got any ideas how to make it region free?

I think that this is an Oritron DVD player

I saw this in the BigW yesterday, they appear to be the same as my Pacific 1002 from ASDA. The remote is exactly the same and the box as only slight cosmetic differences. There are serveral messages in the forum on the hack for Pacific 1002

Me too, anyone been successful yet?

I tried a region 1 disc last night and it worked ok,also played svcd and vcd no problem.I didn`t put a region hack in.Just try it like i did.reply if ok.

Come on andyr123 and marbee give it a go honest it plays region 1 and svcd and vcd.
