Today my AIWA DVD player came.

Its the XD-DV370.

I tried the hack at first and it didnt work. I wondered why, then I realised that the hack states that your DVD TRAY MUST BE EMPTY.

So I took the tray out and entered the code again and it worked!

So all the people having trouble making it work, try it without the DVD in the machine, cos maybe a lot of you have missed that part out.

Anyway, I`m off to watch my Region 1 DVD :)

Mine should be here in the next few days and I was beginning to worry about the hack! Quite a few posts recently seem to be having trouble so I`ll keep my fingers crossed.

HELPPPPPPPPPP.
I can not get the hack to work on my 370 from Comet.
When you tyr the hack does any thing come up on the player its self or not. as nothing happens at all....

Worked out what i was doing wrong. it was the speed of my typing. The faster the beter i found. Now it works

Keep trying Phil,

I bought a 370 from Comet today and the hack works a treat.

Follow the instructions in multi-region hacks/remote hackable section
of this web site. Make sure you leave the cd tray open with no dvd as
you punch the buttons, the Lcd will ask you for a code ( i used 0 for
multi-region ), everything plays superbly now, region 1/ region 2 etc.
Gained further satisfaction by launching my Wharfdale 750s into my back garden where it now resides in the snowy landscape.

BTW mine has finally arrived and although I`m not sure that it rocks (it`s stable as a horse), it definetly plays DVD`s!!

Mine came from the supplier already hacked, (£190) , but I tried it out anyway and it worked fine. Now if I dared add the second Scart, I`d be happy as Larry.
