I know this is a mistake on my part, because it is a lot more complicated to code in that it appears... but...

I`m toying with the idea of letting you challenge the same gremlin more than once a day, possibly up to a maximum of maybe 3 times, providing no challenge is outstanding.

So people who login regularly and clear their challenge lists can be rechallenged, which may be nicer for some who only have a few worthy opponents.

There will still be a max 10 challenge a day limit though.

A good idea imho (King Lionel mode off). I think it might also provide even more interest in that we can get some decent gremlin feuds going.

I`d go for that - I think before Blue died yesterday *sob!*, Phoenix and Grunt were the only 2 I could get a decent fight out of, everyone else was either too big or too small (or too cowardly - RJS!).

I`m all in favour of this idea and I think it provides an incentive to keep the outstanding challenges down too, so helps to keep us active!
I can see that it is tricky to do it and also to keep the "already challenged" indication which is very useful.
As you limit the challenges to 10 per day, perhaps keep the ID of each challenged gremlin in a ten slot array and check for duplicate challenges there?

sounds like a great idea to me it gets frustrating having no one to challenge or having challenges lapse after 3 days. I`ve only been here a few days but I`ve had about 4 challenges lapse each day so 40% of the challenges I make are wasted, anything that helps the regular user make the most of their challnges would be welcome

Have a look at the ages of the gremlins you challenge, and have a look at their stats. Some people don`t bother with it after a while - you can tell who those are. So just don`t challenge them.
