Page 1 of Is it time for a Star Wars forum? If only temporarily!

Not that I don`t like Star Wars, but it`d be best to have a seperate forum at the moment with so many related posts.

I`m sure people will get bored, its only been out a week. :)

We may do a Big Brother forum however if there is interest.

I think The Big Brother forums a great idea. However I think you should give it a week or two and see how many posts you get in general forum about it. It would be embarassing if me and about two other "Big Brother Junkies" were posting in it.

I registered in the Autumn of 2001. What happened about posts for BIg Brother 2? Was there a special forum then?

Seriously though, maybe this could lead to the creation of a topical forum, where the current fads are discussed?

Or isn`t that the point of the general forum?

Topical fads is very probably the point of the general forum, which I guess is why it won`t be much use making a Star Wars forum. But I think Big Brother lasts long enough for there to be a reason for a separate forum for it, but again only worth doing if there is a lot of interest.

Most message-boards are fad-driven, so I don`t see the point, one day it`s RCE, then `Lord of the Rings`, now `Star Wars`. The arrival of endless comments about Big Brother and the World Cup will doubtless drive me bonkers... or at least away from the message-boards.

The new Star Wars film will be forgotten about by end of World Cup & Big Bro, if it hasn`t been it should be. No need for a forum.
