Page 1 of Lexus Sport Coupe ad - the music - anyone know what it is?

Title says it all.
The ad is the new one where the driver is completely insulated from everything around him whilst he is in the car.

I`m really not trying to be a twat here but Lexus don`t have a coupe, they do have:
IS 200/300 Saloon/Sportcross(lifestyle estate) Compact Executive
GS 300/430 Saloon Medium Executive
LS 430 Saloon Large Executive
RX 300 4x4
SC 430 Convertible roadster, i`m presuming that this is what you mean but i haven`t seen the advert and Coupes have hard tops by definition.

Didnt realise it was a convertible until I visited the website. I just assumed from the advert that it was a hardtop and therefore used the word coupe without really thinking too much about it. I supposed I should have called it a roadster.But I was just after the name of the peice of music and wasnt expecting someone to be so fussy about the correct term to use in describing the class of vehicle the Lexus belonged to...phew!

I think you should also let Lexus know that they are using the wrong term as well cos according to the www.lexus.co.uk website the SC430`s `integrated all-metal retractable roof transforms the car from a sleek coupé to a convertible in less than 25 seconds.`

Right, rephrase the question:
Does anyone know the name of the peice of music used in the the new TV advert for the Lexus SC430?

I did sound like a twat then. But i`m still no help as i haven`t seen the advert yet but my evening in front of C4 tonight may yield results, sorry.

You were correct to use the term coupe as the SC430 does have a hard top being one of the latest in the trend for hard-topped convertibles, the only ones i`d seen all had their top down (as they were in florida) so never gave a thought as to the nature of their roof.

Having seen the advert now, i can`t actually help you with the music as the classical style is not my forte, sorry again.

I`ve also seen the ad, but unfortunately have no idea where the music is from. But im sure someone will name it. (Now that you are able to describe the EXCACT automobile in question ) GOOD LUCK. :-)

tis classical then? I`ll look out for it to see if I can help - mind you, it`s liable to be a mish-mash `in the classical style` such as the weird jeans advert with the bloke and woman running through walls. (although it sounds like they nicked a bit of Handel for it).

I probably over reacted.
Have a co worker who is a real pedant and he had annoyed me a short while before I read your response. Bad timing I guess - sorry. I wasnt annoyed at your response - I just thought you were being a bit fussy and my response was meant to be a tad sarcastic and intentionally long winded (just like this sentence!).

I suppose I could always ring Lexus and ask them. Even when I find the answer, I will probably discover that the bit of music in the advert is the best bit of a otherwise boring peice of music - I am not really much of a classical music person, there was just something about that bit.

well, adverts being what they are, if classical music is used you can only get a `bleeding chunk` of it. But you never know - if we find out what it is, it could mean the start of a whole new passion for you....then again....

I am not anti classical.
When I was at Poly a mate gave me a taped copy of Vivaldi`s Four Seasons and it was listened to on a number of occasions (usually relaxing on Sunday mornings).

So there is hope for me yet. :)
