I've listened to his podcasts and watched some of the programs he's done in the last few years. All of which is not really enough to explain why his death and the means of it have had more of an effect on me than a host of celebrity deaths.
Just had a way of getting past the presenter label and made you feel like he was talking to you and not the other several million.
