...2 weeks of fun with the kids (around work) and we've all been looking forward to it.
Yesterday, however, after feeling rough all weekend, my eldest came up with a yucky rash and mum made me phone the gp...turns out the poor little mite has scarlet fever! Last thing I'd suspected, having avoided the news reports etc because I hate all tye hysteria about it, but ruining all our plans as she's too ill to do anything! She's apparently no longer contagious tomorrow though, so hoping the littler one avoids it so we can resume our plans of an exciting half term!
I hope you guys (with kids) are all having a few nice days with your kids, and I hope those of you without kids are not being too annoyed by the rest of us :-)
