One red, several whites. You can pot any ball (inc the cue ball) as long as your cue ball hits another first. Red scores double.
There are pockets dotted round the table with various scores. The higher scoring ones are protected by mushrooms. Knock over one of the two white mushrooms and lose your break. Knock over the black and lose your entire score.
Potted balls drop back in to the tray so they be played again. After around 15 min the balls stop coming back. You then have to use the ball nearest to you. Till you have one ball left. This must be potted in the 100 or 200 point pocket. Game over.
Or something like that.

I used to play regularly and love it! I used to either be reasonably good, or the little gang of us that used to play were all spectacularly bad making me look good, meaning it was a pub game I could play and actually win some of the time (quite a rarity for me).
Its a bit of a nightmare getting out at the moment to do that sort of thing, but I intend to take it back up at some point :)

Don't do that, I have money for you to go out in the third. If you get that far, take a dive!
Also, if it looks like you aren't getting that far and some kid runs up to the table and covers one of the balls whilst your opponent tries to hit the ball repeatedly with his cue, that'll be one of mine.
