Can someone explain how the F the Lincoln monument now has a statue of General Thade?
Is it just a case of a twist ending for the sake of it - without any logic behind it.

my opinion is that it was a ludicrous and dreadful attempt to in someway replicate the mood of the original ending. the icing on what was a truly appaling slice of cake!!!

Watched some of the extra`s but they nearly put me in a coma they were so boring,and how come he can crash like that and walk away from it twice, the false teeth was a p*** poor attempt at humour as well.
Worth watching to to see how hype can be bigger than the movie.

Watched it in the cinema last year. I was OK with the movie despite Marky Mark`s dodgy acting up until the end, but that tacked on ending was abysmal. It actually had the effect of making the entire movie into a steaming pile of Hotspurs. I left the cinema cursing Tim Burtons name and swearing volubly. For the first time ever, I was tempted to ask for a refund and compensation for psychological torture.
This was the most heinous ending in cinema history.

Luckily I missed it in the cinema.
Bought in on DVD last Friday, watched in on Saturday and advertised it on Ebay on Sunday. Fingers crossed it will be sold tomorrow and I can forget all about it.
And the woman - Estella Warren dressed in skins! Marky Mark`s character must have been gay to walk away from that. Just those full pouting lips would have been enough for me to stay, never mind the rest of the body.

I thought it was a poor Film too, but it does contains probably one of the best lines in a film (maybe slight exaggeration)...
"I`m gonna get my Chimp back !!" (Mark Wahlberg, after being told that his Pod Launch was unauthorised)
It took me way into the film before I stopped laughing.
