I missed the current re-runs of bones on sky and want to catch up on the show before i get the 3rd series. I`m trying to get them but am limited to newer posts or 3max downloads a week.

Anybody know of a good radio station thats free to air that plays country music for the father-in-law.
He just got a PC and wants to listen to music when he`s browsing.

Hi to all,

been searching the web for mp3/realtone ringtones (free of course) but all i can find is the sites that charge £1.50 a minute dial-up or £4.50 for a download.

Any body got good TOTALLY FREE sites they can could post below,getting a motorola L7 and want some good tunes for it.

got my sky+ box installed yesterday,must say its a fantastic peice of kit and yes it was brand new .

got the wife to ring sky to cancel our subscription this morning and she asked about the sky+ box at £49.no haggling with the telephone girl at all,just asked where she heard it from.
gonna have it installed on saturday morning with all the details on this topic, must say i`m well chuffed with the original poster putting this on.

RE: dvd burner question

hi again,

the spec on the pc is 160 gig hd with a 3GHz processor
the software he`s using is nero 6 with imgtool burn 1.1.6 version.

think it might now be the disc hes using at the mo. (data-rite x8 speed) he gave me one to try in my machine and it only show as a x4 writeable disc! ?.

dvd burner question

Hi to everyone who reads this,

got a question about my fathers dvd burner, which is a P.C. burner.
at the minute it only writes at the x1 speed , its been like this for some time now he`s told me.

it a liteon dvd-r/rw drive, he`s tried five different brands of discs from x4 - x8 speed but it does`nt seem to make any difference it stiil only copies at x1.
any help would be grateful for him.

if you ever want to watch the video of the frog chorus, go to sky channel 620 for the tiny tots music selection at certain times as it is shown sometime in the 1hr slot.

Help with 2 problems

Hi,

Hope some-one can help with the minor probs that i`ve got.
1. When i receive my e-mails now it don`t seem to show them as html like it used to, i`m just getting plain text

2. When i save a picture of the internet it will only save it as a bitmap, when i go to save it as a jpeg in the dialogue box the only format there is the bitmap.

any help on this would be grateful as i`ve tried everything that i know.

HELP - e-mail problems

Hi,
I`m having a BIG problem with retreiving my e-mails from outlook express.

i`ve got 8 messages coming through the server but it always seems to stick half way on the 3rd message. i`ve set the timeout to max (5 mins) but it don`t help at all.this is part of the error message i then receive.

A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Account: `home`, Server: `pop.ntlworld.com`, Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:



any help would be welcomed.

help with 2 dvd-roms

As the title says i need help.

I`ve just bought a dual dvd/cd writer and want to connect it along with my only dvd-rom(currently set at region 1).
when i put a R2 disc into my dvd writer, which i want to keep atR2, the other rom drive seems to over run it and a message comes up saying that the current region is 1 with 1 change left.as i want to keep the two drives at seperate regions is there anything i can do?
Do i need to set the ide cable to cable select or an i stuck with what i`ve got.

Any help would be greatful.

I live less than 10 mile from their depot at dunmurry (N.I.)
and it takes them 7 days from posting to delivery to my place.
