The really cheap way to knock a load of your commitments off is to do an advanced "music search", for cassettes ONLY in the Classical section - some in there for £4 a throw. I`ll be banking on them as my two years is up in May :-)

Failing that, try Danger Mouse £10 a throw, The Craft, Porridge Series One : round about £10-13 (not inc P & nP - oh well, that`s £20 then...)

Hope this helps :-)

Can you buy CDs and Tapes as well. I thought it was just restricted to DVDs.

I have bought 3 DVDs and have just started my second year. Can I pay off my other 3 with CDs, videos or tapes then?

I think Simon`s right. If you read your commitment, you can buy whatever you want, but they won`t count towards your commitment unless you buy what you signed up for. I was a CD member a few years back, and you always end up paying a lot more. Their prices are high, and them the p+p knocks it up even more. I got an offer of them a couple of weeks ago to come back `we now do DVD`. They worked out around £25-£30 with p+p.

Also, once you`ve fulfilled your commitment, you can phone up and they`ll stop sending you the recommended recording slips that you have to keep cancelling. Not long after they just stop sending altogether, even though I never asked to leave.....strange.

I wouldn`t recommend joining, especially if you are on here you have net access, so can find cheaper bargains online.

Mark.

the only reason i joined is because i ordered :-

Fight Club 2-Disk
Nightmare On Elm Street Box 5-Disk
Omen Box 3-Disk
Arnie Box 4-Disk

and thought what the hell i buy more that 6 DVD`s in a week, but i protested buying films i could get 5 pound cheaper so thats why i`m on the prowel for low price dvds.
