Page 1 of Buying a PS3
General Forum
Bored with the wii and xbox 360 at minute and payday tomorrow so gonna splash out on a ps3 , just wondered what difference (apart from the obvious) between the 250gb and 120gb, which is newer, less likely to crash on me, any good deals at the minute??
Both the same apart from the obvious as you stated.
Seen this on HUKD, PS3 + game + 1 months free Blockbuster game rentals: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/661010/ps3-slim-250-gb-god-of-war-iii-1-mo?

Cheers
You can run a network wire to the PS3. Or use some Mains Networking gizmos?
Uncharted (1 & 2) but I`ve only played 1.
Burnout Paradise
Little Big Planet

I never, ever, look at what online options a game gives me.
I`m not interested in that aspect at all.
Thankfully, the games I`ve bought still suggest solo play is important.
The Call of Duty games are good (enjoyed the first one more than the latest one).
Brother`s in Arms-Hell`s Highway I really enjoyed too, probably more than either CODs.

Out of sheer curiosity, I joined an online MW4 game the other night.
Team game.
Give some `bloke` his due, he was running around with a knife and completely decimating our team in seconds.
Couldn`t touch the `bloke`.
I use `bloke` in inverted commas, because I believe it`s more likely he`s a pasty-faced 12 year old who`s spent hour upon hour perfecting this skill.
It`s a horrible thought, but not a stretch, to say he probably fiddles with himself as he runs around knifing people, maybe high-fiving himself at how good he is.
I lost interest quickly, I won`t bother again. :¦

MW can be harsh when a "n0ob" joins in with experienced players.
but, with a bit of perserverence it can also offer a decent learning curve.
all of us lot who play MW2 started off being completely ****e, but after
spending (probably too many) hours playing have got to the point where
collectively, we can beat other teams who may be of a higher rank.
i`ll shut up about it now as i`m beginning to sound a bit anal...
