Sky 3D.... Advice please....

MAD Jazpa (Competent) posted this on Saturday, 3rd April 2010, 09:17

Anyone know how this is supposed to work?  There are previews of it on channel 217 today but it is just two images side by side.

I spoke to Sky who didn`t even know it was on...

There was mention of having a 3D TV but the guy at Sky thought a normal HD TV may do it.  It would appear that this is not the case.  Any ideas?

Although 3D viewing of sorts has been around for a number of years, new High Definition 3DTV technologies will be available in the home first time in 2010.

Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba are preparing to launch by the summer to coincide with the release of more 3D films and the release of Sky 3D broadcasts. It's rumoured pricing will range between £2000 - £3000 depending on the technology and all of the models will require special glasses.
