Just wondering what a certain Tele logo means
Guys,
Stupid question - but when the likes of BBC show images of sport events from Sky, there alway appears to be a logo of what looks like a pint glass on the screen - somestime full sometimes empty.
What does it mean?

Puzzled me too, but I reckon it`s half-time, full-time sort of thing. It never seems to obviously be filling up, but then I only ever see it on news items as I`m both allergic to football and it`s against my religion. ;)

The glass denotes the subscription is a "pub" one. You see it on the screen in pubs. It means they have bought the subscription with a view to allowing lots of people to watch it and I assume the Beeb have to pay that rate rather than just a private subscription.

I thought that appears if you are watching a game live on sky so I doubt it is something that BBC stick on its news highlights clips
Just checked - seems it denotes viewing on a "business contract" ie pubs and clubs etc
