got a e2save - o2 cash back deal beware

pareece (Competent) posted this on Thursday, 12th March 2009, 12:42

hello i had a e2save -02 cash back deal and it ended at the end of January
and to claim my last cash back deal i had to wait for o2 to send me the last
bill in feb.
well it never came like it normally does so gave them a ring,
to ask for it ,
no prob i will just send another i waited
and rung again and again and again x12
no matter how much i rang and explained how important it was that i got the
last bill still never came last call yesterday and was told it would take 7- 10 days
but its over the e2save time limit to send now so lost out,
i made sure that the last bill was zero as it was end of contract,
but i wish and do advise that if you over spend on the last bill then they have no
choice to send a last bill to you
gutted lost out on £63
don`t know if its anything to do with e2save and o2 part of carphone warehouse
if you do the cash back deals just remember don`t want others to miss out

O2 to their credit, admitted to me that they had spoken to a lot of angry customers, when O2 rang up at renewal time.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Heartily glad that I don`t have to learn how to spell Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Dont backdown. Send them a letter via Recorded Delivery stating that you will take them to small claims court & will claim for the extra charges & your time & court fees. Obtain advice from Citizens Bureau.

You will have to deal with e2save. Also send a letter to their legal dept & charles dunstone (ceo of carphonewarehouse- parent company of e2save.
The had refused to pay my wife the whole lot because she had sent the claim too early.
She wrote back stating that their online a/c & the paperwork they had sent her did not match the claim dates.
She sent a letter to the ceo & their legal dept of her intention to take legal action via small claims court & inform trading standards.
You will get whats due to you if you persevere.
DONT GIVE UP - dont let them get away with it. Consult citizens advice bureau.
