General Forum
It would seem he has had a few complaints about his lorry driver jokes.

Wake up with solution in hand"
I dont think its remotely funny, what is it with our "celebs" that makes then have to or want to be outrageous?? I think he should be ashamed of himself tbh :(
Clarkson, 48, was taking part in a lorry-driving task, when he suggested that lorry drivers kill sex workers.
"Change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That`s a lot of effort in a day," he said.
Lorry driver Steve Wright was jailed in February for killing five prostitutes.
Clarkson`s joke, made before the watershed, sparked 188 complaints
In all honesty I found it amusing when I watched it. He actually said it a few times IIRC.
I never heard the Brand/Ross thing - so can`t comment on whether I found that one amusing. But would we be making a fuss about Clarkson`s comments if the Brand/Ross thing hadn`t been completely blown out of all proportion by the media?
I`m sure the Daily Mail will be championing his (Clarkson`s) suspension/expulsion from the BBC within a week.

RE: Clarkson in trouble?
Seemed pretty harmless to me. It`s not like he claimed to have shagged Parky`s granddaughter.
If they sack him, that`ll be another few grand off the BBC wage bill.
Maybe it`s a way of cutting costs without paying redundancy money: Get all the twatty presenters to say something that will be seen as offensive and, hey presto, instant dismissal.

I miss the honky tonks, the Dairy Queens and Seven Elevens...

The Daily Mail are going to town on this one, They`ve got comments from the Road Haulage Association, lorry driver groups, victim`s families, as well as a spokeswoman from the English Collective of Prostitutes!!!
