While I heard about this story, and can agree with TK-MAXX`s stance on this, the article is pure Daily Mail garbage.
The knife that came attached to the jacket is a very legal swiss-army type knife, available in thousands of outlets legally and safely. However, it would appear the outlet in question lived up to their reputation of being basically a flea-market stall in a warehouse and didn`t have a scooby what the hell they were putting on their shelves, and as such, were selling the item to those that otherwise would be refused.
Well done to TKM for withdrawing the coat, but shame on them for having such a poor level of control or knowledge about what they`re selling. That`s why i never shop there. always come out of there feeling grubby.

Agreed, I bet they didn`t know it was there.
I don`t have a problem with the concept of the coat, it`d be really handy for campers etc to not risk dropping their knife (as it`s designed for, clearly) and no thug is going to buy a coat when they could get a knife much cheaper. But it obviously shouldn`t be sold to under 18s - that said, I bought my Swiss Army knife from Amazon and they didn`t check my age either.
Bloke on news said "It has a hood so it`s very popular with young people"... pft, kids and their wacky liking-to-be-warm ways!

:B laughable i agree, but the mentality levels associated with knife carrying morons could easily have made it the "must have" item in there wardrobe this autumn.... :B

But they could get a far less Roy Cropper-esque coat with an inside pocket and attach a knife to it with a chain, they wouldn`t need to buy this.

:B like i said i agree, but your not taking in to account the school ground mentality... cor where did u get that.... you and i both know you can make an even better one using a hunting knife, gold chain etc but were dealing with a sub species here... :B

It`s the sort of knife you can buy from the gift shop at a National Trust stately home.
