The Nine
Quote:
Nine people learn they share a common bond that was forged when they lived through a 52-hour hostage standoff during a bank robbery that changed their lives forever. Each episode begins with a flashback that reveals another 10 minutes of the robbery, and uncovers why and how these nine strangers remain linked to each other. The Nine was created by Hank Steinberg and K.J. Steinberg for....
it sounds good, but trying to read about it, without reading any spoilers, it looks like only 9 of 13 were shown. So I`ve emailed Five to ask if they are showing all 13, or if only 9 are available for them to show, although it looks like they can be found elsewhere if you`re lucky ;)
Just wondered if anyone else saw it while err on holiday in USA or something, but couldn`t see the last few episodes.
Obviously I don`t want to watch it if the last few episodes won`t be shown.
I started to watch this last year and it was diabolical.. if i remember.. I laughed all the way through it...
Cheers, that`s interesting `cos I saw it got canned for terrible viewing figures but it was "critically acclaimed" (not sure who by ;) ) but on tv.com it`s on 8.6/10, imdb 6/10 so I guess the handful of people who watched all 9 eps voted high on tv.com, and those that swithched off voted on imdb ;)
cheers, and welcome back
Al
Fair play to Five`s customer services, i emailed them last night, and the replied this afternoon, to say they are showing all 13 episodes.
I`ll give it a go then, if it is as bad as Haggis suggests not lost anything :)
Cheers
Al
Don`t say I didn`t warn you!
Hey mate - they only made 9 episodes so its not a complete season.
Best Wishes

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding The Nine.
We are planning to transmit all 13 episodes of this programme
10-13 were shown in another country, but I`m thinking even if i do like it may not be worth watching if they show 13, and if that doesn`t end properly or on a cliffhanger I`ll be annoyed!
oh, just found this, guess I won`t watch:

The big question is, "In the remaining episodes, will we find out what happened in the bank?" The answer is, unfortunately, "No." Because the episodes were already completed, all of the questions won't be resolved. McPherson shared, "It wasn't designed to end at the end of the 13, so it doesn't answer that specific question."
I learned my lesson the hard way watched Line of Fire. I heard it got canned after 1 season, but quite enjoyed it, until the end of the last episode was a cliffhanger :(
Cheers Al
