Page 1 of Baltic states advice - Stag do .

Right I am organising a stag do for my mate. Trying to decide on a location.

I was thinking of going to Brno but been reading bout the place and it seems tiny and not the place for a stag do to go to.

Then thought Bratislava, now I think Neillboy you went there recently on stag any comments?

Apart from that have Riga, Tallin etc.

I have heard some places are rather shall we say old fashioned in their response to people of non white skin. Our party will be mostly brown skinned.

Not too fussed where we go, we are generally not a too drunk bunch we are more keen on shooting, and the activities such as quad biking etc rather than sitting in a pub all day. We will of course frequent places of ill repute and consume alcohol but will save it till the evening and by hopefully using the guide won`t get ripped off or killed.

Basically any advice I went to Budapest last year on a stag and it was brilliant if all else fails will go back there.

Also any stag company recommendations I have heard good things about chillisauce.co.uk (NSFW), I am lazy and want someone else to do all the work.

I`m off to Brno in a few weeks, for the MotoGP. 8)
As you say, it`s not the sort of place you`d visit just for the sake of it.
We`re actually staying in Prague and commuting to the track.

Prague - Brilliant been there twice...is everythng you`d expect and more (its slightly more expensive now although still cheaper than, say, London)

Krakow....now where the bloody hell do i start? 10 of us - all Indian lads except two. Compared to the groups of brit & Irish stags that we saw we were pretty quiet........ Taxi drivers didnt want to know us, a gang of local neo nazis tried to beat us up (dont forget its only an hour away from Auschwitz). A couple of doormen at a gentlemans club wanted to beat us up too.....Oh and the doorman on another nightclub quadrupled the price of entry when he looked at us........ >:(

On the flipside however.....Two of the best nightclubs i`ve EVER been to Frantic & Prozac.

Its not a bad city....just needs to catch up with the rest of the world a bit. Keep yr head down and you`ll be ok....oh and the food wasnt that great...unless you like eating sausages or pork products for every meal......

Oh and finally what they say about eastern european girls didnt really apply in Krakow....it did in Prague though :D

ps....the docs been to Tallinn....he`s the man for advice on that....and if its any help my brother in law went to Riga and said it was ok....

If i was booking something anytime soon i`d be off to barcelona :D

It`s not one of those places that charges you £300 to get out again, is it... :/

nah....Prague had its seedy elements (well after dark everything was seedy) but stick to the main ones like Darling Club or goldfingers and you should be fine :)

Nah, as Neil says, its pretty safe there.
