Just had a look at the thread "whats the last dvd everyone bought?" it`s onto 111 replies now!!! Does anyone know of any longer ones and can this thread beat it?!

Probably the answer to Vern`s question "What player have you got ?" which ran to over 150 or so.
There was also the "What TV programme would you like to see on DVD?" thread which still pops up from time to time (dunno how many - round about the 100 mark I think), and the "What was the last DVD you bought ?" which was around here last week.
Plus loads of meaty flame wars about all sorts of topics, ranging from Scan, Techtronics, September 11th, Sony, etc, etc.. Great debate, all of it !

Probably not the longest but the one that sticks in my mind as an epic is the one from "Mark ___" about Techtronics, does everyone remember that one ?!?!?!. What a thread ;-) !

I probably should have read that thread before I ordered a TV/DVD/VIDEO package from them for my sister. It`s a great site (in my opinion) and good prices but the 2-3 week delivery time showed me what poor customer services they have when after 9 weeks I still hadn`t recieved the TV or VIDEO and they still couldn`t give me an ETA!!! Had to cancel part of that £1500 package and stopped me from buying from them.
Just goes to show that good customer service pays in the long run...

Just as an aside, did Mark Yule ever get a satisfactory conclusion to the techtronics fiasco? - just did a quick search and it seemed to end around July 2001 - but nothing more - anyone know?
