Would you pay ARNIE $30million for T3????

Out of a budget of $200 million $30million quite a big slice if rumours are true

Seems a last ditch attempt to ressurect the mans flagging movie career

What would you pay him??

I`d create a digital muppet to replace Arnie. If Lucas can do it with Jar Jar, it can`t be hard. :-)

Being serious for a moment, that`s a lot of money to pay an actor for the sake of their `skill` and the boxoffice draw. It`s a massive gamble, so one would think that all the film elements (to get the money back from global sales) are not only superb, but better than anyone would imagine.

Would I cough up $30m? No, unless I knew the inside story that assured me I could make money.

This is one film everyone around the world is going to keep tabs on.

What about Cameron Diaz she`s gettin $20 MILLION for reprising her role in Charlie`s Angel, it`s not like that movie was anywhere as good as any of the Terminator movies. Whether Terminator 3 has a good storyline or not I think it will still be a hit considering Terminator 2 is still voted by many as on of the best Movies ever and was voted best DVD by Hotdog readers, so people would love to see a third instalment.

I agree, think T3 would be a massive box office draw. It wouldnt be the same movie without arnie though so i guess they have to pay a decent amount.

The worlds gone mad!!!! But we all knew that anyway.
How can a person seriously consider themselves to be worth that much cash when the person cleaning the loo`s at the studio is on minimum wage whatever that is in dollars, a far harder job, and a lot less rewarding.
If he gets that I hope he gives 29 million away or ploughs it into helping others.
Don`t mean to sound a bit liberal leftie and all that but its just bonkers.
This film will be a hit whatever they pay Arnie or anyone else, it will keep his career up there and be worth doing just for that and a mill or two. Still crackers money. But after having my rant, I wish it was me.
I`d sell out too. All the best Mark.

Yes it`s mad...mad, mad. But Arnie IS the Terminator. reprise the role with someone else and you`re looking at straight to video clap trap like the `Dusk Till Dawn` sequels without the original cast.

This film is going to take a lot of money - even if its crap, just because its the Terminator! I hope its good, I really do! But Arnie just isnt the same anymore since he stopped all the violence in his films!

Both Terminators are classic action films, but without Cameron directing, and Linda Hamilton not in it, Ive a feeling its just not going to be as good as the other 2.

And what has Edward Furlong done since T2!!!!!????

Please dont ruin the Terminator like Alien / Aliens with a crappy 3rd installment!

YES, because it`s Good Business Sense.
i.e

Pay $30 million to secure main reason people will go and see film.

Make $350+ million Profit showing films at the cinemas.

Make more money from merchandising.

Bring out a DVD, 6 months later bring out the Special Edition, and then after a few years when things have calmed down bring out The Ultimate edition.

Point being, if needed, they could afford to give him $50 Million if they wanted.

Umm, "Deano!", edward Furlong appeared in the excelent American History X, but I do see your point.

T2 took small time actors (excluding Arnie of course), and put them in the limelight. I wonder if T3 is gonna generate any new "stars" or just wannabes!
