EBAY CHARGES.....
hello i`ve sold some stuff on ebay and it came to around £140 ,
well i know i get charged for listing the items not got a problem with that,
i know i get charged for selling the items not got a problem with that ,
but i`ve emailed ebay on why do i get charged when i get paid with pay pal ,
3 items sold like i put it all came to about £140
paypal stopped me approx £6 and then i got a bill for £13 approx from
ebay, i emailed ebay and asked them to explain if this was correct and
after nearly 2 weeks of waiting and more emails to them i finally got a
email back to say phone us , so i did and held and held and held on the phone
time and time again and then to be told phone again later [ 0870 number it would
of being cheaper to pay bill ]
well it was my first time in selling things and to save more wasted phone calls
are the charges i`ve got about right , i thought nearly 20 qiud to sell 3 things for
£140 was a bit much, what do you think ? thanks for looking :)

Sounds about right. Remeber you have your intial insertion fees(the higher the first price the higher the fees)
plus fees for extras such as extra pictures, advert in bold.
Then depending upon the category you advertised it in you pay a percentage of the final cost.

In your "My Ebay Summary" page there is an entry on the left for "My Account - Seller Account" and this will give a breakdown of costs incurred.
