Freeserve home time Price Hike

Has anybody else had an e-mail from freeserve saying the price of off-peak is going up from £8.99 to £10.99 next month? I work with four people who use this service and no-one else has been notified. Also is it possible to subscribe to freeserve direct for £5.99 as some of my colleagues say and not bother with hometime?

There is a small note on the Hometime info page saying the price is going up on Dec 1st. They are obviously trying to push the customers onto Anytime at £12.99 where they do not have to pay a slice to BT. Hometime is operated in conjunction with BT so you cannot subscribe for just the freeserve bit which seems to be the part which is going up in price anyway.
